By creating an account or using CortexLoops, you agree to these Terms. CortexLoops is operated by Rohan Oruganti as an individual, not a formed company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use CortexLoops.
CortexLoops is a personal, actively developed tutoring tool that maps what you already know, teaches specific gaps, and checks whether the teaching actually worked. It is run by one person as an independent project. Features, availability, and the question bank can change, and nothing on this site or in the product is a commitment to deliver a specific feature by a specific date.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a CortexLoops account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, most commonly the Acceptable Use section below.
Use CortexLoops honestly, as a learner. Do not attempt to circumvent or manipulate the diagnostic or teaching loop to falsely record mastery, scrape the site or its question bank, reverse-engineer the underlying prompts or skill graphs, or abuse the AI-backed lesson feature (for example, by sending it unrelated or abusive content). We may suspend accounts that do this.
You own the answers and messages you submit during diagnostics and lessons. By submitting them, you give CortexLoops the license needed to process them (including sending them to the AI provider described in the Privacy Notice) in order to generate your lessons and track your progress. We do not use your individual content to advertise to you or to others, and we do not sell it.
The CortexLoops name, the skill maps, the question bank, and the site design and content are owned by Rohan Oruganti, except for anything explicitly noted as third-party or open-source.
CortexLoops is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We describe how the tutoring loop is designed to work, but we do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, quiz score, interview result, or exam result from using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CortexLoops and Rohan Oruganti are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using CortexLoops and delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these Terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice's Data Retention section.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India.
We may update these Terms as CortexLoops changes. If a change is material, we will post a notice on the site and update the effective date above.
